Becoming Postman of God

This is truly a gift from Heaven to Pei Sun (and I'm proud to deliver it!) who is able to celebrate her son's 7th birthday followed by a movie outing in Cineleisure area.

First of all Let me introduced our Truly remarkable woman, Ms Lee Pei Sun. At her young time (well now still young la late 20's only!) she used to be a 'truly radiant bride' living almost perfect life with her husband and kid with a job and a promising future. It is only after a car accident that she involved seeding the very seed of her Spinocerebellar Ataxia disease which only outbreak after the birth of her second son, causing her body function to deteriorate as days goes by.

Now living in Beautiful Gate Foundation, PJ Center, She learned soft skills to cope up with her life and also the center help her and others like her to look for jobs/career so that they are financially self sufficient (I don't think so~!). The only reason now for Pei Sun to continue live on is her 2 kids. Despite her limited physically ability, she wants to give both her kids a complete childhood and spend as many time as possible with them. In fact due to her strong will and determination, her condition maintains its state instead of further deteriorating.

Last Friday, her eldest son is turning 7 years old. So being a friend (and our duty roster gang for Pei Sun), we bring their whole family out for a movie outing/shopping!!

We had lunch in KFC at Seapark(tho I didn't eat the chicken there :p), we celebrated his eldest son Pao Pao's birthday there. So there's where all the cake cutting and candle blowing being taken place.

The birthday boy and his mum Pei Sun

Happy Birthday to you!!

I wish my mummy can get well and dance off the wheel chair one day!

This is really a priceless picture. The Gem of the day.

After the cake cutting we proceed straight away to Cineleisure for Wall-E. Tho we missed quite a bit on the front part but Pei Sun and her kids definitely enjoyed the show as much as we do.

Posing with Sullivan n Mike!

Hey Sully! There are new monsters in town! Roar!!!

Wall-E "Aww... Isn't that a lovely family Eva?"
Eve "Hehe you sure know how to make me smile :)"

Da Lion roaming in for photo!

Queuing up to enter smalland in Ikea.

Picture of the day, taken in front of Cineleisure connecting to the Curve.

After the movie, we went to a few places, flea market, Ikea, the Curve and also Ikano power center to do some shopping.

But I'm not happy one thing is Cathay Cinema don't give discount to the disable and they have to pay full adult rate! I paid for 3 adult and 2 kids ticket, it's not about the money but really I think it's a bit unfair having disabled if they say to come all the way to pay for a full adult fare!

Pretty drenched after a whole day of event. But the fulfillment within it's cooler than just donating 1 million dollar to the center or some version like that. I'm so proud to be able to bring Pei Sun and her 2 kids to cinema with the help of my friend Josephine. This is a total breaktru for me comparing to previously bringing them to the zoo and just shopping in Ikea. Imagine carrying Pei Sun down the aisle and to put her to a seat to watch cinema and piggy-back her down to proceed to shopping! It was quite a blessing also that Pei Sun's 2 kids Pao Pao and Kang Kang are quite obedience and cooperative so the whole day journey is pretty fun and juiced!

Isn't that fun?

How can you help?

  1. Donations to Beautiful Gate Foundation. Doesn't have to be just in cash form (well of cos cash would be nice as cash is king!), donations can also be of your old newspapers or any junk that you think you need to throw away, just give it to them! They'll sell these junks/recycle and take the $$ for their funding!

  2. Join us in our weekly roster sending Pei Sun home to see her kids weekly. Now we need more people on this, especially during events of one of her son's birthday or outing to zoo and cinema. As this will enhance the fun and also we can spread out the jobs at least all of us are not so tired.

Special Thanks goes to: Brother Horng Han who 'assigned' this task to me, Aunty Han for providing the lunch and sending Pei Sun and Josephine for being the nanny cum photographer of the day :p.

God Bless!

Hey thanks for the comment bro, I really like the title "Becoming Postman of God", because we keep saying gift of God. But Gift of God also need people to deliver so I'm am not holy enough to be an angel. Just be a postman good enough =)
